Beautiful, Mid century handmade sterling silver square pendant with rope twist and ball detail work. I am not sure, but this looks like an early Taxco piece. The stamp on the back is worn but it looks like MEX925 (pictured). It comes with an added 18" 925 marked box chain. Both items have some tarnish and characteristic vintage wear. I am unsure about the black part but onyx is my best guess. The pendant has been gently cleaned so it is ready to wear but still maintains some original patina.
